My Dogs

I also breed labrador puppies out of pointing lab stock. The puppies produced are healthy , happy, talented and loveable. My dogs are bred to appeal to the upland/waterfowl hunter and the homeowner as well. I typically have two or three litters per year and the puppies come with a health guarantee on hips, elbows and eyes. The parents are OFA good or excellent and have their eyes CERF'd yearly. As a trio, my dogs are wonderful to hunt with, have been fun to train and are splendid in the house. GMPR HPK's Delaware River Duff SH: Duff was whelped on 6/27/03. He is a black multi-factored male of 70 pounds. Duff is the son of GMPR Fauquier Sam of Black Forest and CPR HPK's Teddy Bear. He has earned his AKC Senior Hunter title, with one AKC Master pass. He owns the title of Grand Master Pointing Retriever in the American Pointing Labrador Association. Duff is a solid pointing dog, an outstanding marker and handles well on blinds. When not hunting or training, Duff is a pleasure in the house and is convinced he's my best buddy! Duff is OFA "Good" and CERF "Clear".

CPR HPK's Big Adventure: Adie is the matriarch of our line and was born on 6/6/01. She is the product of GMPR Cashzinger's Cattail Corky and CPR HPK's Ain't Too Proud To Beg. Adie is a blocky, black, yellow factored female of 55 pounds and has her Certified Pointing Retriever title. She is an outstanding upland hunter with an exceptional nose, is an extremely good marking dog and is an avid retriever. Pups of Duff and Adie show a remarlable level of trainability and have calm temperments. Adie is OFA "Good" and is CERF "Clear".

APR DRL's Muddy Water of HPK SH: Muddy is the offspring of GMPR Augie's Cactus Jack SH and CPR HPK's Mambo Number 5, whelped 9/2/05. She is a sleek chocolate, yellow factored and has proven herself both in the upland field and at sanctioned hunt tests. Muddy achieved her AKC Junior Hunter title at 10 1/2 months of age and her APLA Certified Pointing Retriever title at 13 months old. She now has earned the APLA title of Advanced Pointing Retriever and has her AKC Senior Hunter title. She performs her job on the preserve with enthusiasm. Muddy is OFA "Excellent" and is CERF "Clear".

Bearpoint's They Call Me The Breeze is the new addition to DRL's family. She was whelped on 4/29/08 and is out of 4X GMPR Bearpoint's Rollin'High Reno and 2.5X GMPR Queen Nala of Black Forest, and possesses eleven GMPR titles in her pedigree. She is bold and her level of trainability is remarkable. She started pointing birds at thirteen weeks of age and hasn't stopped. Breeze achieved both her APLA Certified Pointing Retriever and Advanced Pointing Retriever titles on 9/19/09. She is black, yellow factored will produce some talented pups in the future.
